I decided to go with the Dewalt DC825 as my drill of choice thanks to a stellar review from the good ol’ boys over at ToolsCheap.Net. Turns out this thing is sleek, and I mean SLEEK. It’s very compact… probably smaller than most other drills, but it packs some serious torque. This little drill isĀ P O W E R F U L. You can do some serious damage with this thing and I couldn’t be happier.
So here’s what I’m doing. We have the old school wood paneling in our den. Well that’s got to go. Out with the old and in with the new. We’re (mostly me) taking down all that paneling and replacing it with drywall. As you can imagine, I have some drilling to do. This project will take quite a bit of time to complete. I’ve made a list of the things that need to happen in order for this project to be complete.
- Take all the furniture out of the den.
- Unplug and remove all electronics.
- Begin tearing down all the old paneling.
- Clean up.
- Trip to the home improvement store to buy drywall
- Somehow get all the drywall in without breaking or knocking anything over
- Score, cut, drill
- Clean up
- Replace all furniture
- Put electronics and everything else back in the den
This should be fun. Hope I won’t regret taking on this task myself. It shouldn’t be too hard, but with things like this… everything that can go wrong has a tendency to do so. I’m just that lucky
